Springtime

“Sprintime” was painted from a photo taken at Peet’s Hill, a favorite running spot in Bozeman, Montana. The hillside is replete with wildflowers in the spring. In this piece I was attempting the art of photo-realism. Many people mistake the print for a photo so I count that a success!
